FOZ DO IGUAÇU

After 2 days on the bus, we finally arrived at the magical border of Brasil-Paraguay! Foz do Iguaçu. Pousada do Laura managed by Luis. There are 2sides of the falls to visit, the Brazilian and the Argentinian. A great trip was organized by Luis on the argentinian one, with great walking, swiming, trekking all along, but we left it for future friend´s visits ;-)

We then went to the easy brazilian side, where we found our future:

TRAVELING TO PARAGUAY

Bart and Caroline left to the island of Fernando. Our holidays in Brazil have finished!
We wanted to take a plane to Asunción, but they are quite expensive.
We read on the guide buses for long traveling in Brazil are chic. Let´s call it that way!
We then decided it´s good to see Brazil from the window of the omnibus. Our journey: Natal-Brasilia-Goiania-Foz do Iguaçu. Time: 70 hours.
We had the opportunity to see the amazing nature of Brazil´s inland. Vast and enormous lanscapes of big mountains and cactus trees. Adding to this magnificent scenery, the kindness, friendliness and politeness of brazilians. BRAVO!

PIPA

View fron the bed of our room

We started in Natal, and then went to Pipa-paradise to join Bart and Caroline.

In our 2room hotel you could only hear the beach and the wind blowing on the palm trees!

Having breakfast at the hotel!
